Focus Strategy for Vatan Notebook


Vatan Computer has to focus to Notebook category where it can gain equity and market share. Since notebook category's market is increasing more then the total market and there is a strong consumer insight of perceiving notebook as a life style.  Additionally no technology market is focusing itself into this category yet!

 

Thus, Vatan opened very weird shops as Vatan Notebook. It's the first and only notebook shop brand of Turkey (probably in the world as well since there is only Apple Notebook Store as far as we found it out.) Apple is selling only Apple products but Vatan Notebook is selling more then 20 brands and more then 100 models.

 

In the launch, Vatan opened 5 shops in advance and will be opening 20 more shops till the end of the year and 40 shops in 2010.
